Our mission
Mission Statement
"Celebrating and Practising the presence of God in the Spirit
of Jesus Christ"
We aim to CELEBRATE the presence of God through our worship...
...and PRACTISE the presence of God through our involvement in
the local community.
Our community
Gipton Community Arts Centre (GAC) aims to provide and support
a variety of community and arts based activities, enabling the people
of Gipton to develop new skills and interests and to meet new friends.
It is a joint project between the Church of the Epiphany and the
community and local groups are encouraged to make full use of the
centre. The Directors of GAC include representatives from the church,
local schools, community groups, arts groups and local residents.
Metro-Goldwyn-Gipton Players
The group comes together each year to produce the famous and highly
successful Gipton pantomime, based in the Church Hall with performances
during February half term. If you want to be involved in any way
- acting, singing, music group, set design and painting, back stage
crew, front of house – please contact
us for details.
